Robert C. Newton
Bob continually engages with Beltz Ianni & Associates’ retirement plan clients. His focus is on maintaining and improving relationships and meeting client needs. As the Manager of Retirement Plan Services within the Business Services Group, Bob delivers superior plan management and consulting services that create value for our clients.
His range of deliverables include plan design and investment program implementation, coordination of annual compliance, consulting on fiduciary matters, and support to employer and employee inquiries, research and resolution.
Bob has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, spanning the insurance, investment and retirement plan benefits fields with expertise in plan recordkeeping, administration, plan consulting and design, plan implementation, and relationship management.
Prior to joining Beltz Ianni, Bob spent 14 years with EPIC Advisors, Inc., a national recordkeeping TPA, in a number of senior management positions, most recently in a senior relationship management role as Manager of Major Clients. He previously served as Director of Client Services and Plan Administration, overseeing a client administrative staff of 24 as well as the participant call center team. Prior to EPIC, Bob spent two years with Fleet Enterprises as a senior financial consultant, and 10 years as an independent advisor with MetLife (holding CLU and ChFC designations). He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst® (AIFA®) designation.
Bob has a number of retirement professional designations (QPA, QKA, CPFA) from the American Retirement Association (formerly known as the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries). He is a graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester with a B.S. in Management Sciences. He resides in Spencerport, New York with his wife Kathy.
